Embedding Your Calendar on Squarespace

Add your Loxi calendar to any Squarespace site in a few quick steps. Please see our full tutorial on embedding calendars for a deeper dive on how to customize the calendar widget.

Pro tip: if you are experiencing issues displaying your Loxi calendar on your Squarespace site, you might want to look into disabling the Ajax Loading option (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000253288-Ajax-loading)

Pro tip 2: Loxi requires to add Javascript and an iframe to your code block. Adding JavaScript or iframes to a Code Block is a Premium feature available in Business and Commerce plans.

1. Log in to your Squarespace account

You probably already knew this one but, hey, it’s worth mentioning.

2. Navigate to the Pages menu

Squarespace allows you to either create a new page or edit an existing one. Choose whether you want to embed your Loxi calendar on a new page or make a new one altogether. Either way works!

3. Add an Embed block to the page

Squarespace allows you to add “blocks” to the page. Each block is a component, like an image, paragraph of text or a video. One of those options is an Embed. This block lets you paste HTML code into the page and is exactly what we want to embed your Loxi calendar.

Take the code snippet you copied from Loxi's Embed / Export screen and paste it into the Squarespace code block. It might look like you can only paste a URL into the block, but click the icon at the end of the field to reveal a full-size box. That’s where to paste the snippet.

4. Stand back and admire your work

Once you’ve clicked the Apply button for the Embed block and saved your page, visit the page and your Loxi calendar will be on the screen. High fives all around!
